2016 and 2017 camper, Eisley Swaine a Braford Dragons product has committed early to Northwestern Oklahoma State University on a full athletic scholarship.

Class of 2018, 6’3″ Guard will be attending the NCAA Division II programme after making a name for himself torching teams in the ABL. Last season, Swaine averaged a league high 32.6 PPG for Queen Ethelburga’s School picking up multiple Player of the Week Awards and ending the season as the Player of the Year in his Division.

He is excited to head over to the USA and compete in the NCAA.

“I’m really excited to become part of the NWOSU family. The coach really recruited me well and I feel like it’s the right fit for me. My aims while I’m there are to play a large part in the teams success in my first year and continue to build, hopefully leading to some championships!”

Swaine comes from a basketball family, with his Dad (Jason) a former professional known as one of the best shooters to ever play in the UK. With this, he has a great mentor as well as many people to thank.

“I would like to of course thank my Mum, Dad, sister  and my grandparents who have supported me since day 1 and will continue to do so on and off the court. I couldn’t be anywhere near the man I am today without there help and guidance.”

“There are many coaches and adults that have played a massive part in my success up to date Chris Mellor, Josh Metcalf and Ben Kirk. There are also many others like Ralph Bucci and Coach Lindsey that that have help me along my journey. It is an exciting step for me to take and I am looking forward to being a Ranger.”

We want to wish Eisley all the success at NWOSU.
