Two of Barking Abbey’s Guards will be off to Junior College in the US after putting in solid displays in the EBL Division One this past season.

5ft 10″ explosive Point Guard Calvin Nevill-Kintu (recently Ranked #6) led his team to the first ever DENGTOP50 league championship behind an all round performance. Kintu led his team in three categories tallying 16.16 PPG, 3.67 APG and 2.12 SPG in under 28 minutes per game at the DENG camp.

Kintu will be attending the #1 ranked Junior College in the Nation, Vincennes University in Indiana where the Trailblazers have reached the NJCAA Division I Final Four the last two years running. His highlight tape from the DENG camp can be found below:

6ft 3″ Dwayne Orija (Ranked #12) has been instrumental this season for his Kent Crusaders as the starting Guard averaging 8.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

Orija came up huge in the final game of the season to push the Crusaders to be crowned theĀ EBL Division One Playoff Champions hitting some big shots and making crucial plays showing he doesn’t back down from the big stage.

The Barking Abbey and England International will be attending Gillette College on a full athletic scholarship joining fellow UK standout Kavell Bigby-Williams who has recently jumped up to be ranked #2 at DENGTOP50.
