As we enter the 6th Year for our Top 50 camp in the UK, we have made updates to our ranking system.

At this years camp we will now be inviting the Top 50 players across both Class of 2020 & 2021 to have two ranking lists throughout the year.

The camp will continue to compile and produce a Top 20 list from the 4-day camp that will compete in an All-Star Showcase Game on the Final Day. This will include the Top 20 campers regardless of Class Year.

Camp Director, Steve Vear explains the new direction:

“Every year we ask for feedback to continue to make improvements to the camp. After very productive conversations with some well-respected people within UK Basketball, I felt it was the perfect time to update the ranking system.”

“By inviting the best Top 50 players from two different Class Years, we will not only get the highest possible quality of talent at camp but also give maximum exposure for the UK’s elite players.”

Vear also explains how this will help with US College recruiting:

“To have ranking lists clearly split by Class Year will help US College coaches to quickly identify players and their ranking movements during the recruitment process.”

Following the camp, ranking lists for both Class Years will be published and then updated throughout the year allowing players to move up and down the rankings in their own Class Year.
