by DENG Camp USA [2017] will be hosted in Omaha, Nebraska from the 18-21 June.
We are really excited to confirm that the invitational camp will be held at the Iowa West Field House of Omaha Sports Academy, a brand new, cutting edge 8-court sports complex elevating the game of basketball to higher heights in Omaha.
DENG Camp selected Omaha as this year’s location in recognition of its emerging position as a basketball hub within the South Sudanese diaspora.
What is DENG Camp USA?
A residential camp focused on skill development for the most talented South Sudanese High School players in the USA and Canada.
The camp will elevate the level of the players through skill sessions, strength and conditioning/nutritional workshops, classroom breakdown and 5v5 competitive games with more of these details in the short video above.
Player Nomination Form
We are also opening up an online Player Nomination form giving the opportunity for more players to be considered to take part in the invitational camp. Please note that the player eligibility for this camp is as follows:
- Play High School basketball in the USA or Canada
- Class of 2018 and younger
- South Sudanese origin
- Available 18-21 June 2017 to attend the camp
